Iris E. Bennett, Jennifer Mattis, Brenda Morris, and Catherine Kane Ronis to present on Ethics Issues in Internal Investigations and in Responding to Government Investigations at the 2018 Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference in Washington, D.C.

On October 5, 2018, Iris E. Bennett, Member, Smith Pachter McWhorter; Jennifer Mattis, Corporate Counsel, Investigations, Northrop Grumman Corporation; Brenda Morris, Deputy General Counsel, Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc.; and Catherine Kane Ronis, Vice President & Associate General Counsel, Litigation and Investigations, BAE Systems, Inc., will lead an Ethics CLE panel on Ethical Issues in Internal Investigations and in Responding to Government Investigations at the 2018 Women, Influence & Power in Law conference, held in Washington, D.C. 

WIPL brings together women corporate counsel, outside counsel, and public sector attorneys who are in leadership positions at their companies, firms, and agencies, to discuss critical legal issues in corporate law and compliance, and to provide a forum for these leaders in the legal community to share their expertise on these issues.  This Ethics CLE will focus on professional responsibility principles, particularly with respect to the role served by in-house counsel, when conducting internal investigations and responding to government investigations, including critical rules of the road and practical guidance on how to prevent and resolve ethics issues.
