John Marshall Cook inducted into the American College of Construction Lawyers

Smith Pachter McWhorter congratulates John Marshall Cook on being inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL) at its Annual Meeting in California on February 24, 2018. The ACCL is a prestigious, invited association of the top construction law practitioners, professors, and judges.

Founded in 1989, the ACCL’s mission is to improve and enhance the practice and understanding of construction law and to promote the positive role of lawyers as “friends of the project.” John’s selection was based upon his 25 years of experience handling complex construction litigation across the United States and internationally and his extensive “give-back” to the construction/legal community.  Much of John’s “give-back” stemmed from his work with the ABA Forum on Construction Law, where he is currently a member of the Governing Committee.

John joins SPM founders Val S. McWhorter and Richard F. Smith as Fellows in the ACCL.
