Diamond Valley Lake Reservoir, Southern California
This massive civil works project involved excavating, hauling
and placing over 65 million cubic yards of material to create
two dams, the largest (West Dam) being 1.7 miles long. The
foundation for the dam and the borrow areas contained differing
site conditions. Smith Pachter McWhorter PLC prepared
claims, which were presented and resolved through mediation.
