Mr. Snyder has been with Smith Pachter McWhorter since 2008, primarily representing clients in the government contracts practice area. His government contracts experience covers a range of issues, including: contract formation and award, contract claims and disputes, DCAA audits and investigations, prime contractor and subcontractor disputes, contract administration issues, Buy America Act issues, internal investigations and compliance, contractor integrity and responsibility issues, ITAR and EAR compliance, Cost Accounting, Cost Allowability, procurement fraud, False Claims Act issues, Small Business matters, commercial item procurement, State Income and Sales tax recovery, and Freedom of Information Act matters. He has worked on disputes in the Court of Federal Claims, Federal District Courts, and State courts. He has also worked on a variety of disputes before the boards of contract appeals, the GAO, and other administrative boards.
Mr. Snyder also has experience representing clients in construction matters and Fifth Amendment Takings cases. His construction experience includes: disputes involving international construction projects, differing site conditions, defective specifications, contract administration, constructive changes, and liquidated damages. His Fifth Amendment Takings experience includes: advising clients on Statute of Limitations considerations, 28 USC § 1500 considerations, physical takings issues, temporary and permanent takings issues, and valuation of property for damages purposes.
